The accommodation at Iganu serves both the needs of self-catering and
fully catered clientele. Our main lodge can provide both thatched chalet and
traditional rondavel style rooms. All rooms are either twin-bedded or
double, and all are en-suite with tea and coffee making facilities. All of
the rooms are tastefully decorated with locally made furniture.
Extra beds are available in the larger rondavels to create three-bedded
rooms if required. The main lodge provides lounge, dining and bar facilities
and leads out to the boma area where meals are prepared and taken al-fresco
under the beautiful starry skies.
The swimming pool is centrally located for cooling off on the warm summer
days and nights.
A viewing area over the floodlit waterhole provides ample opportunity to
observe the animals at night as well as the day.
Clientele preferring to self-cater can take advantage of the tented camp
located in a nearby Knobthorn copse. The views from the tents are of the
central grassland where many of the animals choose to graze in the morning
and evening.
The tents are modern fully equipped purpose built lodge tents. Each with
it’s own ablution facilities and a central kitchen of our guests
convenience. A boma area is provided for braais in the evening.
Each tent has a sleeping area with four single beds and it’s own verandah.
For hunters there are slaughtering and cooling facilities available, and
taxidermy services can be arranged as required.
